EVe Awards Second Contracts to Deploy Fast Charging Hubs in HDB Towns

EV-Electric Charging Pte Ltd (EVe), a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority (LTA), has awarded contracts to SP Mobility Pte Ltd and ComfortDelgro Engie Pte Ltd for the deployment of Fast Charging Hubs across eight sites, including HDB and carparks serving recreational facilities.
The award marks a further step in expanding Singapore’s public EV charging network, with more fast-charging options to be introduced at convenient locations where drivers can charge as part of their daily routines. This builds on earlier contracts awarded to SP Mobility Pte Ltd and Shell Singapore Pte Ltd in March 2026 and supports the Government’s commitment for every HDB town to have at least one fast-charging hub by end-2027.
Details of the site locations are provided in Annex A.
SP Mobility Pte Ltd and ComfortDelgro Engie Pte Ltd are part of EVe’s refreshed pre-qualified panel of Electric Vehicle Charging Operators (EVCOs), appointed to support the next phase of public charging point deployment. The panel comprises operators assessed based on their capabilities in EV rollout delivery, operational reliability, and customer experience.
“As EV adoption grows, this tender award, together with our earlier contracts for six fast-charging sites in March 2026, will accelerate the rollout of fast chargers to keep pace with growing EV demand and adoption,” said Stephanie Tan, Chief Executive Officer of EVe. “While many drivers will continue to rely on overnight charging near home, there are drivers who benefit from faster charging options across the day. These fast-charging hubs complement the existing network by offering greater convenience and flexibility in how and when drivers charge.”
